"..Ausgangspunkt dieser Werkgruppe sind von der Künstlerin mit pastosem Farbauftrag nachgemalte „Kopien“ verschiedener Gemälde von beispielsweise Claude Monet, Paul Gauguin, van Gogh und Paul Cézanne. Diese Replika übergiesst sie mit einer monochromen Farbmasse, um dann die getrocknete, kompakte Farbschicht abzuziehen. Präsentiert wird die Rückseite dieser Farbhaut, auf der das von Anna Amadio nachgemalte Gemälde als Relief einen Abdruck hinterlassen hat. Das fertige Bild ist nicht nur ein gemaltes Bild, sondern ein Materialbild, das gleich an mehrere Traditionen in der Malereigeschichte erinnert. Als monochromes Bild weckt es Assoziationen an Color Field Painting, als Abdruck interpretiert es den Begriff des Impressionismus quasi wörtlich.."
